Our client recently purchased EV's and was ready to make the transition to solar. We designed their system using Aurora, the industry leading solar pv design software. This system was designed to offset 100% of their energy consumption. We chose to use Qcell panels for their extreme weather rating, efficiency, and production guarantee values.
This system uses Enphase IQ8+ microinverters. Every panel has a microinverter. This means that we can monitor the health and production of each panel individually, which allows us to keep their overall system production as high as possible. The Enphase system also makes future troubleshooting a breeze, since we can pinpoint the exact location of a failed system component.
Lastly, we installed a level 2 Tesla wall mounted EV charger in our client's garage. They can now charge day or night, without having to worry about peak demand charges.
